CVR Namibia

The branch in Oshikuku started in 2017 when it was handed over to our spiritual father Prophet Tomby Pastor Chanda. Unfortunately, Pastor Chanda abandoned the branch, and then Pastor Maria was appointed who also abandoned the branch. The branch thereafter received Pastors Mr. and Mrs Mbitas overseers, assisted by Pastor Anna.

The branch has since strived to hold onto the Prophet's teaching and vision. We have seen children grow in numbers and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Parents of the children have testified that the teaching is not only helping the children but also the children's parents and guardians because children step in to help their elders in conflict and decision-making according to the word of God. The ministry is known for serving foods or meals thanks to the teaching of Prophet Tom and all the Glory to Jesus Christ. Marriages have been saved including that of the overseer Pastor Mbita.

This is Lay Pastor Festus Mateus-Oneshila CVR: I briefly testify that I partially entered the Born Againjourney in 2013. In 2017 I gave my life to Jesus Christ. 2018-2019 God called me to ministry, but nothing was completely clear to me! From 2020 to 2021 I was a bit lost until God directed me to the CVR church, it was then, my calling became clear. God in CVR caused me to turn around. The Gospel in CVR was so pure and powerful that I couldn't resist. I’ve never been to, liked, or understood the prophetic ministry until I came to CVR. Not just the prophecies; it is indeed the true Gospel and the richness of life in the church that made me stay even though I was just planning to pass by. With CVR I forgot about all the fancy things that I had thought I needed, as God challenged me and is busy now moulding me down, forever challenged! Thank you Prophet Tom Tirivagani for the Great church. Thank you Overseer Mathew Maposa, under the direction of our Father Prophet Tom, indeed my salvation in God, you redirected me to the cross.

Pastor Bettie Sara Hoakhaos and Pastor Laya Enkali started the Branch in 2019. That time Pastor Bettie was just an elder. They started to evangelize but no one was interested. One day they came to Ouma Elfriede Rooinasie's house where they found people suffering and starving, so they put some coins together and bought 2 breads and sugar for them to eat and they started to light God's fire there. They then started to worship at their house together. Pastor Emirilda Munyikwa joined the team after Pastor Laya Enkali had left and stayed for 2 years before going to Cape Town. As a result, Pastor Bettie became the Senior Pastor. The community where this branch is located is full of poverty and suffering. People primarily go to churches to receive food and basic needs. The people are in dire need of the Word of God and when there is a Prophet they are very eager to attend.
